Pizza by Alfredo’s
If you’ve watched The Office, you’ve probably heard of Pizza by Alfredo’s — the fictional pizzeria Kevin Malone famously described as:
“It’s reaaaallllll bad.”
The project explored a simple question:
What if Pizza by Alfredo’s actually turned things around?
What if the food improved, the experience evolved, and the brand needed to rebuild trust with an audience that had already written it off?
This concept rebrand was created to explore how strategic design, digital presentation, and brand perception could completely reshape the way customers experience a food business online.

The Challenge
The biggest challenge wasn’t simply making the brand look modern.
It was changing perception.
The original reputation surrounding Pizza by Alfredo’s carried:
- low quality perception
- lack of trust
- forgettable presentation
- negative emotional association
The goal was to create a visual identity and digital direction that felt:
- bold
- contemporary
- culturally aware
- craveable
- premium without feeling overly polished
The brand needed to feel like it had genuinely evolved.
The Approach
The rebrand focused heavily on atmosphere, appetite, and emotional positioning.
Rather than designing a typical pizza website, the experience was approached more like a modern hospitality campaign:
cinematic food presentation
bold editorial-inspired typography
moody lighting and contrast
immersive layouts
elevated mobile experience
stronger visual storytelling
The intention was to make the brand feel memorable before the first order was ever placed.
The Outcome
The final direction transforms Pizza by Alfredo’s from a forgettable joke into a brand that feels culturally relevant, visually distinctive, and intentionally designed.
The project demonstrates how thoughtful digital branding can:
rebuild perception
increase perceived value
create emotional connection
modernize legacy food brands
turn attention into desire
More than a visual redesign, the concept explores the power of branding as reputation recovery.
